The modern library may be a more commuter-friendly place.
The Toronto Public Library is starting a new initiative by installing vending machine-style library kiosks at Union Station. The latest campaign from the TPL is a novel idea hoping to take aim at commuters that will be passing through Union Station, in hopes that it will attract more readers across the city.
Officials say that no vendors have signed onto the project yet, but that plans are in the work for these machines to be installed at Union Station in the coming months, and will be funded by the city.
Is this new technology going to inspire you to pick up a book on the go?
