Councillor Norm Kelly has been invited to OVO Fest by hip hop superstar Drake via Instagram.
The 73-year-old received an official public invite to Drake’s annual music festival after throwing his support behind the rapper in his feud with Philadelphia’s Meek Mill.
As a result, Meek Mill performed at the Molson Amphitheatre on Tuesday and was rejected and booed by the crowd.
Drake posted a photo of Norm Kelly on Instagram and he wrote “6th Annual OVO Fest this weekend. @welcomeovo.”
Kelly defended Drake as he replied to Meek Mill’s message posting “You’re no longer welcome in Toronto” on Twitter.
Meek Mill accused Drake of not writing his own lyrics and that he had them written by a ghost writer. Drake responded with a dis song called “Charged Up” and Meek came back with a track called “Wanna Know.”
This is the reason people hire ghostwriters. #WeDidntWannaKnow

Meantime, Drake is now the first Canadian to be given his own edition of Air Jordan’s. It took 86 weeks for the Toronto-born rapper to have his stingray 10’s and 12’s released by Nike.
