A 67 year old man has been charged for offences allegedly committed while running an alternative medical practice in the City
Dennis Robinson of Toronto operated the clinic on the Danforth between October 2012 and July 2015.
It’s alleged that during this time, Robinson produced false diplomas of qualifications in Naturopathy and Osteopathy to the public, and would extract blood his patients using a diabetic needle, claiming that Fry Laboratories in Scottsdale, Arizona would conduct analysis on the blood.
However, when contacted the laboratory confirmed that it had had no contact with ”Toronto Alternative Medical Practice”.
Following an investigation into the fictitious blood result records, Dennis Robinson was charged with two counts of fraud under $5,000 and two counts of Assault
Toronto Police have charged a 67 year old man who allegedly ran an alternative medical clinic on Danforth.
Between October 2012 and July 2015 Dennis Robinson ran the Toronto Alternative Medical Practice on Danforth – as a naturopath.
He would allegedly draw blood from patients using a diabetic needle and would tell them he would send the blood off to the Fry Clinic in Arizona.
But the clnic claims they didn’t receive anything from Robinson.
The 67 year old has been charged with 2 counts of fraud, and 2 counts of assault.
Police believe there could be more victims.
