Councillor Jim Karygiannis will be hosting a technical benefit briefing by representatives of the Insurance Bureau of Canada informing those who user Uber about the risks they face.
Uber drivers regularly rely on personal auto policies, leaving passengers, pedestrians, cyclists and other occupants in other vehicles at risk, considering the drivers are unprotected to uninsured risk in the event of a claim.
The meeting will be held at Toronto City Hall in room 2 at 11 a.m., which is located at 100 Queen Street West.
