The Ontario SPCA has received almost 20 calls in two days about dogs left in hot cars as temperatures soar to mid-30s.

York Regional Police were called to Vaughan Mills mall on Tuesday when security there had reported a dog in a hot car that was in visible distress.
Police were able to remove the dog from the car.
