Hulk Hogan/WWE part company after racially charged recording in which Hogan used the ‘N’ word to describe a man being dated by his daughter. Colin Cowherd fired by ESPN for derogatory comment re Dominican MLB players intelligence. Jon Stewart in profanity loaded exchange with African American contributor to his show. Earlier this year Clorox would have liked to remove tweet about ‘bleaching’ black and white emojis. Racial issues abound this week and last week a the director of the South Carolina Public Safety Agency was photographed helping a white man overcome by heat while attending a KKK rally and wearing a swastika featuring T-Shirt. The Director of the SC Public Safety Agency is African American.
Isn’t it pretty clear, you know, the line which crosses from comment to being racially ignorant? What do you do if you say/write something racial you later have concerns about? Stay quiet and resolve to not do it again, or step up and offer a sincere apology?
