A body found in a park in St. Catharines is not that of 22-year-old, Shawn Kapadia, who went in Mississauga back on July 5th.
The OPP say they are now investigating the case as a suspicious death after the corpse was found in Short Hills Provincial Park on Thursday morning.
Kapadia is believed to be Toronto’s latest homicide victim, but his body has yet to be found.
Investigators are asking residents in the Niagara area to keep their eyes open for any holes that were dug in the ground.
Police located Kapadia’s silver Pontiac G6 on the eastbound side of River Road approaching Philips Road in Welland, Ontario and they say they also have information that a John Deere backhoe was seen arriving at the Wainfleet home on Friday, July 10th and leaving on Sunday July 12th with a big block of concrete in the front bucket.
