Subscribers of Ashley Madison all signed up thinking that the personal information they decided to share was safe. As it turns out it wasn’t as safe as they thought. The popular site was hacked earlier this week and the hackers have started to release some names to the public to show they mean business. What makes the Ashley Madison site appealing to hackers is the amount of private information on it. Getting their hands on that huge amount of private information provides a lot of motivation for hackers. The hackers have said they will release all the information they have to the public if the website isn’t taken down.
