Fans lined up outside the Indigo Bookstore on Bay and Bloor, in hopes of catching a glimpse and autograph from the legendary rocker Jimmy Page during a stop on his book tour Tuesday.
But unlike most book tours, Page was only stamping books, not signing them.
The book tour, which started up last fall, is to promote the re-release of his 2010 autobiography, Jimmy Page by Jimmy Page. The original autobiography was limited to 2,500 copies and were personally signed by Page for a price of about $700.
The re-release sells for about $55 at Indigo.
Would you be ticked off if you lined up and only got a stamp and no autograph? Or would meeting Jimmy Page be good enough?
