After seven days of the Pan Am Games a new survey suggests that Torontonians are responding well to the major event.
Forum research has found that about 25% of the city’s residents have attended the games already or will be doing so at some point.
Pan Am organizers report ticket sales were approaching the one million mark, which is okay, considering 1.4 million tickets were made available and officials admit they never expected a sell-out.
Perhaps the most concerning find is that 30% of respondents indicate they would like to see the HOV lanes stick around for good.
However, 57% say no and 14% remain undecided.
