A Toronto bound Air Transat Flight from Rome has made an emergency landing in Dublin, Ireland this morning.
There are reports that the decision was taken to land the Airbus A330 following reports of a smell of smoke in the cockpit.
Dublin airport tweeting that the plane with 313 people on board had landed safely at 11.46am.
Air Transat flight 315 was scheduled to land at Toronto Pearson International Airport at 5.50 p.m, having departed from Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino airport in the Italian capital at 8 a.m.
Its the same plane that crash landed in the Azores in 2001 after running out of fuel midway across the Atlantic.
