Canada’s top general sends a letter to the parents of a Canadian Army Cpl who committed suicide, stating Cpl Stuart Langridge didn’t earn the two medals he’d received.
Earlier this year an independent commission ruled the military had botched its investigation into the suicide of Cpl Langridge.
Chief of Defence Staff General Tom Lawson has now apologized if he offended the parents of the Corporal with his letter.
Lawson is the same General who was publicly challenged a few weeks ago for his explanation to a parliamentary committee about why some sexual harassment may take place in the military.
Roy is joined by Col Michel Drapeau who has more than 30 years experience as a military lawyer and is now a civilian lawyer representing the family of Cpl. Langridge.
