The Jays Felix Doubront has to be happy with his first start of the season.
The 27 year old Venezuelan pitched into the 7th inning which was enough to give him a win, 2-1 over the Chicago White Sox.
In his first start in the majors since last September, Doubront allowed just one run and six hits in 6 2/3rds.
Hitting help came from Josh Donaldson who led off the fourth with his 21st homer, which broke a 1-1 tie.
Jays shortstop Jose Reyes scored the Jays other run in the first with a lead off with a single, and a steal, before later being driven home on ground out by Jose Bautista.
Drew Hutchison (8-2) will get the start on Wednesday against the Sox John Danks.
