The Toronto Maple Leafs are signing forward Nazem Kadri to a one-year contract extension.
It was inked on Sunday. The 24-year-old London native has appeared in 250 career NHL games, all with Toronto.
Kadri finished fourth among Leaf players in scoring last season, coming out with 39 points (18 goals, 21 assists) in 73 regular season games.
He has 152 points (64 goals, 88 assists) overall.
Kadri was originally drafted in 2009 by the Leafs in the first round, seventh overall.
