The identities of the city’s latest murder victims have been released.
On Sunday, June 28, at 7 a.m., police were called out to the Lisgar and Sudbury Streets area for a shooting.
Police arrived to find 2 men with obvious signs of trauma. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
They have been identified as 26 year old Abdiweli Abdullahi, and 26 year old Mohamed Abdiwal Dirie, both of Toronto.
Police are still looking for 4 persons of interest. They are all described as dark-skinned men in their mid-twenties. One man was described as east African, possibly Somalian, and spoke with a distinct southern American drawl.
They are also looking for a couple of vehicles. One is described as a newer-model, silver compact car, and may have sustained damage from a collision as it fled the scene. The other is described as a brown compact car.
