Toronto Man Wanted in Fatal Woodbridge Shooting

York Police are looking for one suspect in connection with Friday night’s deadly shooting in Woodbridge.

Around 6:45 p.m. one man was killed, and another man was rushed to hospital after shots were fired in a cafe on Woodstream boulevard near Highway 7 and Martin Grove Road.

Police identified the victim as Sarhad Sadiq, 36, of Nobleton.

Police say the suspect they are looking for is David Odesho, 24, from Toronto. Odesho is described as white, 5’9″, 249 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

According to police he is wanted on a count of 1st degree murder and one count of attempted murder.

Police say he is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

Investigators are also looking for a white, four door Mazda 3 that was seen leaving the scene.
